My Little Baking Buddy

Ella and I made some yummy cupcakes on Saturday morning. This was Ella's first time to "cook" anything and she had a BLAST!!

Ella likes to use the whisk as a microphone normally...but she liked using it this way too!

She enjoyed some Saturday morning cartoons while she waited for the cupcakes to bake. Yes...those are leg-warmers...and one of them is on inside out! She has her own sense of style!

She had so much fun icing them and putting sprinkles on!

Of course, after all that hard work, the best part is eating them!

BIG girl + little BOY = Lots of FUN!!!

Ella and Max are both in fun stages right now! We are really starting to see Ella's creativity and imagination come through...not to mention her bossiness and sassiness too (not sure where she gets those from?) !! Max is crawling everywhere and pulling up on everything. He has such a sweet little disposition and he's so easy-going. It's just amazing that we can already see the differences in their personalities.

Ella loves being the little momma! She was so excited to feed Max his baby food...she even made the little face while she did it! Too cute!

Max had fun crawling through sissy's tunnel. Poor little guy is destined to have lots of pics playing with girly-looking toys!
This is a designer-original by Ella! She is sporting her purple snow hat, green shirt, green jacket, denim skirt, brown lounge pants and pink socks! She put this outfit on to go play outside with daddy! WOW!

Max has become a pro at pulling up on just about anything in sight. He still acts so proud of himself each time! Little cutie pie!

Yes...that is a purple necklace around his neck. Daddy wasn't too fond of this pic!

Aren't they precious?? They love eachother so much!

A Day at the Zoo

Our sweet friends Lacy and Jackson invited us to go to the zoo today. We had so much fun!! The weather was perfect and the kids had a blast!

This is the only pic that I got of all 3 kids. They don't look like they're having much fun, but I promise they did! You can see the giraffes in the background.

Max was worn out! This was his first trip to the zoo and he slept through most of it!

Ella really liked the statues of the animals...almost as much as the real ones.

Jackson and Ella had fun playing on the playground.

Max had fun watching Jackson and sissy play on the playground too! We had a great time! Thanks Lacy and Jackson!!

wHaT aN iMaGiNaTiOn!!

Ella has quite the imagination lately. She loves to dress up and she comes up with some pretty interesting looks.

Here she is with her winter hat and sunglasses. Skiing anyone?

Why wear one hat when you can wear two? That's Ella's theory!

She's all set to go to college...that's what she and Jack were pretending when this pic was taken. Apparently the college is in Africa or something, because she's taking a safari hat!

Look at all that bling! Less is definitely not more as far as Ella is concerned.

Pirates of the...livingroom???? We had no idea that our washcloths doubled as pirate hats! As you can see, daddy likes pretending just as much as Ella does!

No imagining here...Max started pulling himself up on the ottoman this week!

Little Buddies

Ella and Max love to play with their buddies Jack and Sam. Here are some pics from a couple of recent play dates...

Ella and Jack at the mall. They love to throw pennies in the fountain and then chase one another around it!

Max and Sammy are pretty much along for the ride at the mall....they both look like they are enjoying it though. Little cuties!

Here are Jack and Ella singing together. Rumor has it that they are planning to tour in the summer of '08. Stay tuned....

Sam and Max were just trying to keep up with the big kids! It won't be long and they'll be running around with them.
