We went to the zoo with Laura, Jack and Sam yesterday. The weather was really nice and it didn't get too hot until right before we left. The kids had so much fun and they were all on their best behavior! We love spending time with our friends!!

Ella and Jack liked to get out of the strollers at each exhibit to get a better look. If you look closely, you can see two lions up on the rocks.

I just had to put this one in here because I thought it was PRECIOUS!! Laura told them to put their arms around eachother for a picture and this is what we got. Two little monkeys looking at the monkeys!!

They finally got it figured out! Little cuties!!

Sweet little Sammy and Max were both tuckered out before it was all over! It's exhausting trying to keep up with the big kids!

They had a little area set up for face painting...so of course we couldn't pass that up! Ella picked a ladybug. We did this on our way out and the kids were just worn out!

I think this picture sums up how we were all feeling by the time we left....EXHAUSTED!! Sweet little Jack looks so tired here!! He chose a tiger for his cheek....although it didn't quite look like a tiger when the lady finished. Bless her heart!!

Time for a nap!! We had a great day with our special friends!

Memorial Day / Happy Birthday Logan!

On Monday, we went over to my Aunt Patty's house to celebrate Memorial Day and my cousin Logan's 10th birthday. We ate some yummy food and then we all played in the pool. It was a blast!!! Happy Birthday Logan!!!

bUiLt In pLaYmAtEs!

Ella and Max's relationship is so precious right now! They are really starting to enjoy playing together. Up to this point, Ella has tried playing with her brother, but he would pretty much squeal when she came within 10 feet! Now, they are having fun together and laughing at one another...it is priceless!!!

Max loves playing in his big sister's room! He especially loves her little kitchen...and Ella loves showing him how to "cook" in it!

Here they are testing out their new carseats before Jason installed them in the car. Little cuties!!

Congratulations Uncle Aaron!

Aaron's (my youngest brother) freshman promotion was last Thursday. He will be at the high school next year!!! Congratulations Uncle Aaron! We love you!!

fUN iN tHE sUN!!!

What a beautiful weekend!! We spent some time over at my Aunt Patty's house in her new swimming pool enjoying the warm and sunny weather! It was so much fun!!! Thank you Aunt Patty!!!

Wow! Does she look ready for the water or what??? Too bad she didn't get anything wet above her kneecaps! She kept saying that the water was TOO cold.....and she was right! It was freezing!!

Max was all set for a day in the sun! He loves being outside...just like his big sis!

Not sure if you'll be able to see it, but Max is making the cutest face in this picture. He's been scrunching up his nose and making a "stinky" face and he just happened to be doing it when this pic was taken.

Max LOVED the water! I cannot express how COLD it was, but he didn't seem to care at all! He just kept kicking and splashing with a huge smile on his face.

After we were finished swimming, Ella came outside covered in sunscreen! She said, "this will make my arms feel better." It was all over her cheeks, arms and legs....little stinker!

pLaY dAtEs!

Last week was lots of fun! Ella spent time with some of her favorite friends. Thursday afternoon, Aunt Lydia brought Courtlynn and Jace over for a visit. The girls had so much fun playing together! The boys pretty much just took turns sleeping!!! Friday morning, we met Laura, Jack and Sam at Pump It Up. Ella and Jack had a BLAST!!! I didn't get many good pics of them playing because of the lighting and the screens that they have on the toys, but let me assure you they played their little hearts out! Ella loved going down the huge inflatable slide! At one point, Ella and Jack were wrestling in the moonbounce and Laura and I were cracking up! I know I've said it so many times before...but those two are HILARIOUS together!!

9 Month Pics

Max turns 10 months old on friday, so I figured we better get his 9 month pics taken before then! He is so funny, because he is normally all smiles....unless you put him in a portrait studio with a photographer and a camera! The poor lady did everything but stand on her head and Max just wasn't very smiley. We still got some really sweet ones though!
